What we collect

Where your Google files live

Files created for you by Icebreaker are stored in a folder owned by the PolarIQ administrator's Google account and shared only with you and the Icebreaker service account. Because the administrator owns the folder, the administrator can technically open it; we access it only to operate and support the service. Files you connect yourself stay in your own Google account.

Service providers

We use Hostinger (hosting and email delivery), Google (Sheets, Docs and Drive), and, only if enabled for your account, Anthropic or OpenAI (AI features) and Stripe (payments). They process data on our behalf under their own terms and security programs. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember a trusted device, and remember your theme. No analytics or advertising cookies.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sign-in uses a one-time email code, connections are encrypted, and stored API keys are encrypted. We follow a written information security program in line with Massachusetts regulation 201 CMR 17.00 and will notify you and regulators of a breach as the law requires.

Retention and your choices

We keep your account while it is open. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account data at any time; deleting your account removes your Icebreaker data and leaves your Google files with you. Logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Children

Icebreaker is not for anyone under 18.
