Accessibility
We want Icebreaker to work for everyone. We design and test it against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we do
- Every action works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and labels that screen readers understand, and status changes are announced.
- Colors meet contrast requirements in light and dark mode, and color is never the only way information is shown.
- Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion. Pages reflow at 320 px wide and 200% zoom.
- We run automated accessibility checks on every page before release and test the main flows with a screen reader.
Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, email brimcfarland@gmail.com with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix issues promptly, and we can help you complete a task another way in the meantime.
